Lounge / Bedroom

This self catering edinburgh apartment has been recently refurbished to a high standard and is suitable for 2 adults. The lounge/ bedroom  is a stylish, modern and spacious room with a double bed, leather sofa and chair, TV, Video and stereo. The comfortable double bed can be easily and discreetly folded into a custom made cupboard, giving a good sized living room.  There is also a foldaway single bed and a travel cot in the accommodation. There are a number of good sized cupboards in this room. The window view from this room is of the court yard below. The apartment is warm and comfortable. It is located well back from the main street and doesn't suffer from the major city centre noise levels.

The newly fitted separate kitchen is well equipped for those who enjoy cooking, with a wide range of utensils and equipment. There is lovely granite top table with 2 chairs to sit down with a drink and look at the superb views to the back of Edinburgh Castle.

The newly fitted separate bathroom also looks over the Castle. It has a bath with electric shower and  toilet and a wash-hand basin.  There is ample room for toiletries on shelving. The window view from the bathroom is of Edinburgh castle.

Electricity, linen and towels are included in the price. Clean linen and towels are provided at the start of the let and spare sets are kept in the flat. There is an iron and an ironing board in the flat.  For children, there is a travel cot and a foldaway bed. A baby high chair and children's plates and cutlery can be provided on request at no extra cost.

Access to the Apartment

The self catering apartment is located well back from the main street and doesn't suffer from the major city centre noise levels. There about 20 steps to get to the apartment level from the street.

 This accomodation is ideal as a base to enjoy a self catering holiday in the historic centre of Edinburgh.

 Arrival is after 3pm and departure before 10am.

The Location of the self catering Studio Apartment

The apartments are located in the Grassmarket area which lies in the very heart of central Edinburgh. It is close to Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile, which leads down to Holyrood Palace. It is a 5 to 10 minute walk to most of the city centre attractions, including  Princess Street Gardens, the Royal Mile, the Castle, museum, and art galleries.  The Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) just as 10 minute walk from the apartments.
