The high windows of the living room look out on a private sunny front garden, ideal for a morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening. The apartment is furnished to a high standard in a comfortable, contemporary style; a perfect base from which to explore Edinburgh, both on foot and by bus.   The Tree lined street View of castle from the meadow which is a few minutes walk away. It benefits from a living flame gas fire and shutters, flat screen TV (cable), DVD, CD player, radio and Ipod dock station. The small dining area will seat four. Free WiFi access is available if you wish to bring your laptop, and there is a wireless printer- useful for printing off boarding passes.   Living room   Kitchen   Well equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, grill, microwave, washing machine, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. Cooking basics are included, also a few luxuries as a welcome to the apartment. Fresh herbs are available from the front garden in season.     Bedroom 1   This peaceful room looks onto a border in the back garden and is furnished with a king size bed. There is ample space for clothes storage. A DAB radio/alarm and hairdryer are provided.   Bedroom 2   This is a bright sunny room with, again, a peaceful outlook onto the back garden. It is a double room with a DAB radio/alarm. This is an ideal location for exploring Edinburgh. A pleasant stroll across the Meadows (well used by Edinburgh residents for jogging, impromptu sports and just lying in the sun) down towards the Mound and city centre takes you past the National Museum in Chambers Street and over the historic old town via George IV Bridge. If you prefer, there are frequent buses just a 2 minute walk away. Located near much of the university campus, there are a large number of restaurants, bars and unique shops nearby- the famous Victor Hugo Delicatessen is just around the corner.   Metered parking Mon- Fri 08.30-17.30 (free outside these hours and over weekend).
